Animal Healing with Teaching Therapies
The Individual "Patient" will dictate what healing process takes place. In most cases this will be a hands on approach right from the first meeting, as this strengthens the bond between David and the "Patient" during the healing sessions.
In some cases the "Patient" will not be able to tolerate hands on healing, this can be caused by past physical trauma or other conditions. If this is the case, hands off healing will be carried out during the session. This will be explained before treatment commences.
Healing generally takes 4 sessions. Occasionally, the treatments may take longer or shorter periods of time, but David will run through your pets requirements after the initial session, and agree a treatment plan with you.
Healing does not replace the need for Veterinary advice. In extreme cases David may ask you for a referral from your Vet. You will also be asked to fill out a consent form before healing commences.
Healing can be administered to your pet for a number of reasons, these can be medical conditions, critical conditions, ongoing pain relief, or psychological conditions. Please read Benji's story to understand how healing can help animals overcome past trauma.
After a healing session your pet may be thirsty, and may show signs of tiredness. Most animals do not display any adverse effects after a healing session, but David will be available to answer any concerns you may have after a healing session.
