Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force.  The Universal Life Force is an energy which is all around us and is produced by all living things.  Reiki is also the name given to the treatment system which was created by Mikao Usui in 1926.  After many years of research, meditation and study into ancient techniques, Usui created a system of wellness, which he then taught people.  To this day, Reiki is stall taught in a traditional way from Master to Student.

During your Reiki Session

Receiving a Reiki treatment is a simple yet powerful process.  You will lay on the treatment couch, fully clothed, whilst the Reiki practitioner places their hands in a variety of positions which help stimulate positive energy flow around your body.  The whole person is treated during a Reiki treatment, not just the area causing concern.  Reiki is used to help heal at any level be it Physical, Emotional or Spiritual.  Acute physical injuries can be helped very quickly with Reiki, however more chronic illness may require a supportive course of treatments.  This will all be explained to you at the time of your first treatment.

David first trained in Reiki Level 1 9 years ago, and since then has continued his Reiki training and personal Reiki journey.  He qualified as a Reiki Master in 2005 and continues to teach Reiki in the traditional way as taught by Mikao Usui.  David has taught Reiki to students in the UK & USA and is committed to teaching and educating people about this peaceful yet powerful treatment.

If you are unable to visit David in person for a Reiki treatment, he offers both a distant healing service which is available upon request and a home visit service for clients local to the Loughton area.  Distant Reiki works in exactly the same way as a face to face appointment, David will contact you by either telephone or Skype to carry out the initial consultation and schedule your appointment.
